2021 Concerts
Indira Grier
Outstanding young cellist Indira Grier has been performing as a concerto soloist since the age of twelve and has just completed a Masters degree with Alexander Chaushian at the Royal College of Music.
Nicholas Mogg
The English baritone Nicholas Mogg read music at Clare College Cambridge and studied on the Opera Course at the Royal Academy of Music with Mark Wildman and Iain Ledingham.
Choir of Clare College Cambridge
We are delighted to present prize-winning young harpist Elizabeth Bass who in 2016 became the first British person to reach the final of the USA International Harp Competition.
Hill Quartet
Newly formed in September 2018, the Hill Quartet comprises four postgraduate students from the Royal Academy of Music. Their programme in Crediton will include Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 3, Op.18.

Elizabeth Bass Rescheduled

Emmanuel Bach
Emmanuel Bach has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at venues including Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St George’s Bristol, St Martin-in-the-Fields and St James’s Piccadilly.
David Cottam
Local guitarist David Cottam presents a wonderful Sunday afternoon programme which includes Bach, Scarlatti, Spanish Music and some of his own musical compositions.
Bernard d’Ascoli
French pianist Bernard d’Ascoli has been pursuing a distinguished career since the 1981 Leeds Competition – praised by critics for his powerful interpretations of the core repertoire.
New Oxford Consort
Vocal sextet of elite young singers directed by Freddie Crowley. Their repertoire ranges from Renaissance to close-harmony and jazz: their programme includes works by Victoria, Tallis, Lobo and Stanford.
Gioisca Trio
Gioisca explores the wealth of repertoire for high soprano, Baroque trumpet and organ, and their programme will include works by Scarlatti, Bach and Handel and their repertoire also includes jazz and songs from the shows.
2018 Concerts
Trio Goya
The Trio Goya play chamber music on period instruments and their programme concentrates on music by Haydn, Mozart and early Beethoven.
Jonathan Radford & Kaoli Ono
Jonathan Radford on saxophones and Kaoli Ono on the piano perform a programme featuring works by De Falla, Faure, Milhaud, and Lauba.
Magnard Ensemble
This experienced wind quintet made their international debut in Lucerne in January 2017. Their programme features works by Mozart, Hindemith, Paul Patterson and Samuel Barber.
Gildas Quartet
The Gildas Quartet are members of the Park Lane Group Young Artists. Their programme includes works by Haydn, Dvorak and Beethoven.
Pelléas Ensemble
Our first concert for the 2018 season presents an unusual combination of instruments the flute, harp and viola. The programme will include works by Debussy, Arnold Bax and Bartok.
