Fibonacci Quartet

Works by Mozart, Janáček and Schubert

The Fibonacci Quartet are one of Europe’s leading young string quartets, regularly performing at venues such as Wigmore Hall, Auditorio Sony, Conway Hall, and Museo del Violino, Cremona. They are a Resident Ensemble at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid and at the Dutch String Quartet Academy in Amsterdam. They have received mentoring from Quartetto di Cremona at the Stauffer Centre and have been privileged to work closely with Eberhard Feltz.

Awards received include First Prizes in the Royal Over-Seas League International Chamber Music Competition, the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition and in the International Triomphe de l’Art Competition (BE), Audience Prize at the Schiermonikoog Festival (NL) and the Special Prize of the Shostakovich Association in Paris. The Quartet also received the Peermusik Hamburg Prize and First Prize and Audience Prize at the International Beethoven Competition in London. Recently they received the Royal Philharmonic Society Henderson Chamber Ensemble Award. Regular broadcasts on radio and television include Dutch National Television and BBC Radio 3.
