Christopher Guild ... piano

The Countess of Munster artist is the Scottish pianist Christopher Guild. Christopher has won many prizes as well as an M. Mus. with Distinction from the Royal College of Music. His career so far has taken him from ‘hand-doubling’ in an episode of Midsomer Murders to making his debut as an orchestral keyboardist in the Queen Elizabeth Hall. He has also a fistful of scholarships and Trusts under his belt, as well as the Sir James Caird Travelling Scholarships Trust who support him as an Artist Diploma Student at the Royal College studying under Andrew Ball.
His programme begins with Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and includes Reubke, Debussy and Liszt, celebrating the two-hundredth anniversary of his birth.
